pekchurs pers edesyown

i'd like to think of myself as a warrior armed with both the knowledge and weapons of warfare. always ready to take up any challenge at any time.

in a time not so long ago i challenged myself to acquire this weapon. after a few months, i had my hands on it. and so, equipped with such wonderful weapon i bring you my captives:

malacanan sa sugbo at night

cebu-srp sunset captured inside a moving van

sunset at the high hills of talibon, bohol

the blossoms of utot-utot

some greens just below our backyard faucet

statue of antonio pigafetta at fort san pedro, cebu city

at a hill in talibon, bohol with the silhouette of my brother: the squire

a view of an afternoon sky at talibon, bohol

blossom of baho-baho (genus lantana)

blossoms of cadena de amor

a cocoon at our frontyard

an experimental shot with fireflames

another experimental shot

in photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.

books, weapons, bulges and heroes

the knowledge of literature is second to the knowledge of warfare for a warrior-princess like me. i read books and i love doing it under a tree with my sword and shield beside me. but lately i've been reluctant to shell out gold coins for a piece of bounded paper, so i was left no choice but to use one of the most violent weapon ever used in a war: the Internet (insert thunderclap)

a perfect weapon indeed. numerous things i did find. ladies, gentlemen and everyone in between, lo and behold one of the most amazing facts i've found:

identity/class: Robot
occupation: Bodyguard for Cesar
affiliations: Cezar, Celia
first appearance: Aliwan Komiks

history: Zarbot was created by a scientist named Celia to act as a sort of toy/bodyguard for her son, Cezar. Cezar had met with an unfortunate
accident which cost him his limbs. But they were replaced by bionic arms and legs (made adult size so that they won't have to be replaced when he grows up). Zarbot's body was made from the metal of an asteroid. Celia used her dead husband's brainwaves to program him, at first prompting some sort of romance between the two. But Zarbot's metal body was slowly evolving, and he became much more than a robot. In the course of the entire series, I think it is safe to say that Zarbot is the most, if not only, sexually-active robot in comics history. Virtually every female character who popped into the series had sexual relations with him. In the end, all nations of the world wanted a piece of him, so Zarbot agreed to mate with female representatives of each nation, thus spawning a whole new race of super-beings on Earth.

Created by Jim Fernandez and Hal Santiago.

bitchywitch says: aaaay! ang bulge mga ateh! BIGGIE!!! ang gandang gawing pelikula etoh. "Zarbot: Anakan Mo Akoh!" starring Jay Manalo as Zarbot...

fairygodflower says:...also starring Ai-ai de las Alas as Celia and directed by Binibining Joyce Bernal...ang zayah!

Great heroes need great sorrows and burdens, or half their greatness goes unnoticed.

an elder's legacy

the death of one clan member signifies mourning and sadness. rituals have to be done to send out the soul of the deceased to a better world.

several years ago my grand-elder died of a desease and as expected ceremonies were done. but one thing sets us apart from other clan, after mourning over our dead we celebrate. yes my comrades, we celebrate over laughter and food to remember the good things a man gave this harsh world. my grand-elder being a romantico-comedian, poetry resounded over the celebration and his sister(a grand-elder and romantico-comediene herself) started the brawl-of-wit:

tulo kami ka rosas,
ako ra ang minasitas.
dili ako paminyu-on,
kay ako baho ug bisong.

nagtanom ako ug kamote.
katay didto, katay diri.
nang-unod ug ingon ani. (points at breast)
niliki ug ingon ani. (points at groin)

*more laughter*

and other elders and warriors followed suit.

fairygodflower says: sana sa susunod medyo disente naman ang matigok.

bitchywitch says: your highness, ang vonggah ng lolah moh! palakpakan!

princess aries says: yes my dear servant. vonggah is the word. my grand-elders may be weak but their minds are as strong as the hardwoods of the mystic forest and as green as the moss on a rock.

because i have loved life, i shall have no sorrow to die.

heading for battle

welcome to my world!

i am aries and i’ve hid myself from the rest of the world for years but now is the time to don my shield and draw my sword. join me in my journey as i head to the light at the end of the tunnel, meet fellow warriors, conquer worlds and search for my biological mother: Princess Xena.

my servants shall be with me to lend a hand in every crest and every
trough of the journey. let their names be heard together with mine beyond seas and mountains.

she was born among the buds of lilies in the forest pond, a creature of light and happiness.
fairygodflower is a friend to all, her wisdom has helped me secure alliance to all the men i've met without bending my knees.

an image of strength and confidence is seen through her. she was found among the ruins of her settlement and our elders gave her to me as my servant. i gained her trust and a battle without her is suicide.

follow us as we lead the way!!!

Whenever I prepare for a journey I prepare as though for death. Should I never return, all is in order -Katherine Mansfield
